Toutancarmont wins the Prix Anjou-Loire Challenge

Toutancarmont, trained by Isabelle Pacault and ridden by Jonathan Plouganou won Europe's longest steeplechase by a length in a very close finish from Phakos in second.

Maljimar, leading horse of the 2012 Crystal Cup, survived two serious blunders to finish just a length back in third and stablemate Shalimar Fromentro finished one place further back in fourth.

Reste Demohaison wins the Grand Cross De Pau

Reste Demohaison, trained by Francois Cottin and ridden by Nathalie Desoutter, wins the first leg of the Crystal Cup for 2013.

Malberaux was unable to win the race for the fifth year in succession when falling about a mile from home.  Quick Baby, trained by Jerome Follain, finished second of the four finishers with Star De Livet and Quick Gold, both trained by E Leray, filling the remaining places.
